The Marimekko Mini Unikko Plywood Tray is a light round tray in laminated birch plywood, printed with the small-scale Unikko poppy. The grain and tone of the birch stay visible beneath the print, so no two trays look quite alike. Unikko was drawn by Maija Isola in 1964, at a time when Marimekko collections held almost no florals, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
Made in Sweden from 100% birch wood, the tray measures 31 cm across and is food safe. It comes in Light Brown / Beige. Wipe it clean rather than soaking it.
Carry coffee and cake to the sofa on it, or leave it on a chest of drawers to gather keys and candles. More trays are in the Marimekko collection.
