The Marimekko Oiva / Unikko Mug and Plate Set gathers four pieces of the Oiva range by Sami Ruotsalainen in the Unikko print: two mugs of 2.5 dl each and two plates of 20 cm each. Unikko was drawn by Maija Isola in 1964, at a time when Marimekko collections held almost no florals, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
The pieces are made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware and are dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe. The set comes in White / Black and arrives packed in a Marimekko logo gift box, ready to give. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Keep it as a breakfast service for two, or give it as a housewarming present, and build on it with other Oiva pieces from the Marimekko collection.
