The ferm LIVING Kiru Carafe is designed for serving water, juice or wine, mouth-blown using the Japanese Kurinuki technique, in which forms are first hand-carved in clay before being translated into a brick mould. The process presses a ceramic-like texture into the glass, giving it a distinctive, handcrafted finish.
Made from 100% GRS-certified recycled glass in a clear finish, the carafe holds 1 litre and measures 8 x 24 x 9.5 cm. As a handcrafted piece, gentle variation in shape and surface is part of its character, and it suits a table set for everyday meals or entertaining.
