This small rectangular Oiva plate carries the Kurre pattern across its flat surface. Oiva tableware is designed by Sami Ruotsalainen. Extending Aino-Maija Metsola's tales from the forest, Kurre presents a lively brood of squirrels collecting and hiding nuts, a common sight in the designer's childhood yard. The original artwork was painted on paper with brush and ink.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, the plate measures 12 x 15 cm and is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe. It is available in White / Brown / Black / Light Blue. Please remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Use it for bread, cheese or a small breakfast, and set it beside the round plates and bowls in the Marimekko collection.
