The Hammershøi series is Kähler's modern classic: designer Hans-Christian Bauer drew on the works that Danish artist Svend Hammershøi created at Kähler's workshop in the early 1900s, translating his signature grooves into a quiet, sculptural language for today's table and home. The Hammershøi Grinder H18 cm is designed by Hans-Christian Bauer and crafted from ceramic, oiled oak, standing 18 cm tall with a diameter of 6.5 cm. It is available in White, Anthracite grey, Dark green, Brown and Indigo. Each piece carries the character of Kähler's ceramic heritage, founded in Næstved, Denmark in 1839.
A workhorse with sculptural presence, it moves happily between kitchen counter and dining table. Wipe with a damp cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
