The Marimekko Oiva / Siirtolapuutarha Mug is the large size in the Oiva range designed by Sami Ruotsalainen, a white stoneware mug wrapped in the garden flower drawing by Maija Louekari. Maija Louekari drew Siirtolapuutarha in 2009 as a line drawing of the journey from the busy city centre out to an allotment garden full of flowers and vegetables.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, it holds 4 dl and is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe, and the glazed colours and pattern stay vivid with daily use. It comes in White / Black / Light Pink. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Keep it for long morning coffees or tea with a book, and match it to the Oiva plates in the Marimekko collection.
