The Marimekko Räsymatto Apron is cut from a cotton and linen blend, with a front pocket for the things you keep reaching for and an adjustable neck band. Maija Louekari drew Räsymatto, meaning rag rug, in 2009. Inspired by allotment gardening, it speaks of sustainable living and the joy of working with your hands, and of the colourful story a rag rug tells on the floor of an allotment cottage.
It is made of 48% cotton, 31% cotton and 21% linen, including 33% organic and 46% recycled cotton and 21% recycled linen. Fabrics containing recycled fibres have a naturally lively colour and surface, where small areas of different colour may appear, so no two aprons are quite alike. It comes in Linen / Black and should be washed with like colours. Made in Estonia.
