The Anniversary Unikko Tablecloth uses a placement print, so the poppies are composed for the length of the table rather than repeated. Printed in Helsinki with stitched edges, it draws on the pattern Maija Isola created in 1964, when Marimekko's collections held almost no florals and she chose to design an entire range of them.
The cloth is woven from a blend of 57% organic cotton and 43% linen, measures 135 x 250 cm and comes in White / Hay / Sand / Emerald. Wash it before use at the stated temperature, without fabric conditioner, and allow for shrinkage of up to 6%. It arrives in a Marimekko logo-pattern box.
