The Marimekko Lokki Pillow Case is made from cotton that has been washed for a soft finish, with a thread count of 200 TC. Maija Isola drew Lokki, meaning seagull, in 1961 after watching sunlight fall on a drawn curtain, where the wide folds cast wavelike shadows. She cut the final sketch from coloured paper, which gave the waves their living lines.
The case is 100% organic cotton, measures 50 x 60 cm and comes in White / Beige. Wash before use, wash with like colours and follow the washing temperature given, allowing for shrinkage of up to 5%. Made in Turkey.
