The Marimekko Siirtolapuutarha Cotton Fabric is a heavyweight organic cotton printed in Helsinki and sold by the metre, ready for curtains, cushion covers or upholstery projects. Maija Louekari's Siirtolapuutarha, or city garden, is a line drawing that traces a journey from a busy city centre out to an allotment overflowing with flowers and vegetables.
All of the cotton used is organic, the fabric is made in Finland with a pattern repeat of 116 cm, and it comes in a White, Light Yellow and Orange colourway as well as White, Green and Black. Wash with like colours at the temperature given, with shrinkage of up to 4%.
