The Marimekko Räsymatto Kitchen Towel is woven in a cotton and linen blend and finished with a hanging loop, so it can stay on the oven rail between jobs. Maija Louekari drew Räsymatto, meaning rag rug, in 2009. Inspired by allotment gardening, it speaks of sustainable living and the joy of working with your hands, and of the colourful story a rag rug tells on the floor of an allotment cottage.
The towel is 48% cotton, 31% cotton and 21% linen, with 46% recycled cotton, 33% organic cotton and 21% recycled linen, and it is Oeko-Tex certified. Recycled fibres give a lively colour and surface, so pieces vary slightly. It measures 43 x 70 cm and comes in Linen / Black. Wash before use, follow the washing temperature given and skip the fabric conditioner.
