The Marimekko Kaje Cosmetic Bag is made of cotton in the Mini Unikko pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. A zip closes the bag, and inside there is a recycled polyester lining with two pockets for keeping small things in order. Unikko was born in 1964, at a time when Marimekko collections held almost no floral designs. Maija Isola was fascinated by flowers and drew a whole range of novel floral prints, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
The main fabric is 48% cotton, 31% cotton and 21% linen, with 46% recycled and 33% organic cotton and 21% recycled linen. The lining is 100% recycled polyester, and the bag is Oeko-Tex certified. It comes in Off-White / Sage / Dark Blue. Wash with like colours at the temperature given. Made in Estonia.
