The Marimekko Oiva Bowl wears the Piccolo pattern, a 5 dl size that suits porridge, soup and everything in between. Oiva products are designed by Sami Ruotsalainen. Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo in 1953, the year she joined Marimekko, painting the stripes with vivid brushstrokes. Three years later the Jokapoika shirt made from the fabric reached the shops and the streets, and it has stayed there ever since.
The bowl is made of 100% whiteware and is food safe as well as dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer proof. It holds 5 dl and comes in White / Black. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal. Made in Thailand.
