The Marimekko Pieni Siirtolapuutarha Oven Mitten is made of organic cotton, with a padded filling for hot dishes and a hanging loop for the oven rail. Maija Louekari drew Pieni Siirtolapuutarha in 2009 as a variation on her Siirtolapuutarha, meaning city garden, a line drawing that tells of a journey from a bustling city centre out to an allotment overflowing with flowers and vegetables.
The outer fabric is 100% organic cotton and the filling is polyester, half of it recycled. The mitten is Oeko-Tex certified and comes in White / Light Yellow / Orange. Keep it away from oven heating elements and open flame. Made in Estonia.
