The Iso Unikko Throw is a jacquard-knit blanket in which the oversized poppy is built into the structure of the cloth. Unikko came out of 1964, when Marimekko's collections held almost no florals and Maija Isola chose to design a whole range of them; the flower now represents creativity.
Knitted in Italy from a wool blend of 44% recycled wool, 37% virgin wool, 16% recycled polyamide and 3% other fibres, the throw measures 130 x 170 cm and comes in Off-White / Chestnut. Regular airing is recommended, and brushing helps keep the surface even.
Fold it over the end of a bed or keep it on the sofa for cold evenings, with more textiles in the Marimekko collection.
