The Marimekko Syksy Carafe is mouth blown glass, arriving in a box printed with the Marimekko logo. Matti Klenell's Syksy, Finnish for autumn, follows the shapes of autumn rain from a gentle drizzle to a drenching downpour, captured as an organic, relief-like surface applied in the designer's sketching hand.

It is made of 100% glass in Thailand, holds 1.3 litres and comes in Clear. Marimekko glassware is mouth blown into a mould, so occasional air bubbles and small signs of craftsmanship are part of each piece. Slight variation between pieces is natural, and each carafe carries its own small marks of the making.
