The Joy Backpack combines the Unikko pattern with vertical topstitching. This padded backpack has adjustable shoulder straps, a zipper closure and a zipper pocket on the back panel. Inside there is a large padded laptop pocket, a zipper pocket and two open pockets. Maija Isola created Unikko in 1964, at a time when Marimekko's collections included hardly any florals. Her abstract flower has since become an icon of print design and a symbol of joy and creativity.
The outer fabric, lining and padding are all 100% recycled polyester. Made in China, it measures 32 x 42 x 15 cm (W x H x D) and weighs 0.52 kg. Colour: Blue / Dark Blue. Note that the colour may bleed.
