The Joy bags are padded and quilted with the Marimekko Logo pattern, using recycled polyester for the outer fabric, lining and padding. The range runs from a small crossbody to a tote with padded laptop pockets and a duffel quilted inside and out, plus a backpack in Unikko.

The logo, quilted
The Marimekko logo has been in use since 1954, based on modified Olivetti typewriter letters. On Joy it becomes a quilted pattern stitched through a padded fabric, so the wordmark reads as texture as much as print.
Padded for daily use
Outer fabric, lining and padding are all recycled polyester. The Tote M has two large padded side pockets for laptops, and the duffel is quilted inside and out with a small zip pocket on top.
A Unikko backpack
The Joy Backpack swaps the logo for Maija Isola's Unikko with vertical topstitching. It has a padded laptop pocket, a zip pocket on the back panel and two open pockets inside, plus an inner zip pocket.
