This set holds two Oiva coffee cups without handles, each carrying the Unikko pattern on the simple Oiva shape. Oiva tableware is designed by Sami Ruotsalainen. Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964, at a time when floral designs were almost absent from Marimekko collections. Fascinated by flowers, she went on to design a whole range of novel floral prints, and Unikko has symbolised creativity ever since.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, each cup stands 7 cm high, measures 7.5 cm across and holds 2 dl. The cups are dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe. It is available in White / Light Sand / Beige / Dark Green. Please remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Use them for espresso, tea or small servings of dessert, with more Oiva pieces in the Marimekko collection.
