The Marimekko Silmälasi Kukkaro Purse is a slim rectangular case in unbleached cotton, printed in Helsinki with the Pieni Siirtolapuutarha pattern. A metal frame snaps open and shut with one hand, which makes it easy to use on the move. Maija Louekari drew Pieni Siirtolapuutarha in 2009 as a variation on her Siirtolapuutarha, meaning city garden, a line drawing that tells of a journey from a bustling city centre out to an allotment overflowing with flowers and vegetables.
The purse is made of 100% cotton with a 100% cotton lining and a metal frame, and it is Oeko-Tex certified. It comes in White / Light Yellow / Orange. Wash with like colours and use a thick washing bag. Made in Finland.
