Arne Jacobsen designed the AJ Table Lamp for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957, part of a comprehensive design concept for the hotel. The lamp provides a pleasant downward light, with a white-painted inner shade that can be tilted to adjust the light distribution. The AJ lamp family, which includes the AJ Table, small table lamp, floor lamp, wall lamp, and table-mounted lamp, became iconic and was featured throughout the hotel after its inauguration in 1960. The AJ lamps, crafted in copper and stainless steel, reflect Jacobsen's signature clean, geometric design, which is also evident in the architectural details of the hotel.
Please note: This lamp does not include a light bulb. For optimal performance, we recommend an E27 LED bulb (6–6,5W, 810 lumens) with a color temperature 2700K .
