Designed by Alfred Homann and Ole V. Kjær in 1976, the Nyhavn Wall fixture was created for a Louis Poulsen competition focused on lighting for historic urban areas—and it won. With its compact, discreet form, it was designed to stand apart from larger, bulkier lights of the time. The fixture features a distinctive cone-shaped shade and three anti-glare rings, producing a soft, upward-directed light that enhances its surroundings with elegance.
