Verner Panton designed the Series 430 Chair as a study in simplicity, offering armchair-like comfort. He used traditional webbing on the fully upholstered seat to adjust for body weight, with a wide nestling backrest. The chair sits on a slender, elegant frame mounted on the outside of the seat and back.
