This set holds two flower shaped bowls, each 11 cm across and each in its own colour, cut to the outline of the Unikko poppy. Unikko was born in 1964, when Maija and Kristina Isola set out to create a whole range of floral prints at a time when almost no flowers appeared in Marimekko collections, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, the pair comes in White and Plum, with a coloured glaze that gives each piece a lively surface. Hand washing is recommended, as the shaped rim can be damaged against other dishes in a machine. The set is packed in a Marimekko logo box.
