This Marimekko set holds two tea towels in a cotton and linen blend, both carrying the Unikko pattern at full scale. Unikko was born in 1964, at a time when Marimekko collections held almost no floral designs. Maija Isola was fascinated by flowers and drew a whole range of novel floral prints, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
Each towel is made of 57% organic cotton and 43% linen and measures 47 x 70 cm. The set comes in White / Red and White / Black. Wash before use, wash with like colours, follow the washing temperature given and leave out the fabric conditioner, allowing for shrinkage of up to 6%. Made in Estonia.
Keep one in use and one folded on the shelf, and add the aprons and pot holders from the Marimekko collection.
