The Marimekko Pieni Unikko Cushion Cover is woven from a cotton and linen blend as a jacquard knit, with a concealed zip on one side. Jacquard woven pieces may vary a little in size. Maija Isola drew Unikko in 1964, when Marimekko's collections were still dominated by abstract prints, shaping it as an abstraction of a flower rather than a likeness of one, and the poppy has stood for creativity ever since.
The blend is 53% cotton, 37% cotton and 10% linen, the cover is made in Lithuania and measures 47 x 47 cm in Off-White and Charcoal or in Pink. Follow the washing temperature given, and expect shrinkage of up to 6%.
