Rosendahl

Rosendahl is a Copenhagen design house that works with outside designers on objects for the table and the kitchen, and its catalogue reads as a list of Danish everyday staples rather than showpieces. Grand Cru, its clean-lined family of glass, steel and porcelain, has been in production long enough to have become a domestic standard in Denmark.

From that range come the Premium Champagne Glass 37 cl and barware such as the GC Barware Wine Pourer. The RÅ series takes the opposite approach (raw thermo ash and stoneware, matt and tactile) in pieces like the RÅ Chopping board 44x25 cm and the RÅ Salt cellar.

Rosendahl Design Group also produces Kay Bojesen's wooden figures, Arne Jacobsen's clocks, Kähler ceramics, Holmegaard glass, Lyngby Porcelæn and Bjørn Wiinblad, which is why so many Danish classics share one maker.
