The Marimekko Pieni Siirtolapuutarha Placemat is made of acrylic coated heavyweight organic cotton, which wipes clean with a damp cloth. The mats are sewn from the full width of the fabric, so each one is unique. Maija Louekari's Siirtolapuutarha, or city garden, is a line drawing that traces a journey from a busy city centre out to an allotment overflowing with flowers and vegetables.
Made of 100% cotton in Estonia, it measures 31 x 42 cm and comes in White, Light Yellow and Orange, with an Oeko-Tex certificate for the material. Follow the washing temperature given, reshape to dry and use a damp press cloth.
