This knitted shoulder bag carries the jacquard knit Unikko pattern in a firm recycled polyester with a ribbed texture. It has a wide shoulder strap, a zip closure and an embroidered Marimekko logo on the front. Maija Isola created Unikko when Marimekko's collections had hardly any floral designs, and went on to draw a whole range of new floral prints.
Made in China of 100% polyester. Width 27 cm, height 20 cm, depth 10 cm, weight 0.34 kg. Colour: Black / Off White.
The wide strap sits comfortably on the shoulder for everyday errands, and it comes from our Marimekko collection.

Marimekko
以羅紋提花針織而成的Unikko，而非印花

Maija Isola創作Unikko時，Marimekko的系列中幾乎沒有花卉圖案，之後她更畫出一系列的花卉印花。在這些包款上，罌粟花以紗線構成，以提花針織讓圖案貫穿整塊布料。

Maija Isola於1949年加入Armi Ratia的公司，當時它甚至還未命名為Marimekko，她為公司設計直到1987年。在這段期間，她畫出超過500款印花。1964年，她違抗Ratia不做花卉圖案的規定畫出Unikko，最後Ratia還是將它選入系列之中。
