The Marimekko Pieni Unikko Oven Mitten carries the small scale Unikko poppy, printed in Helsinki, with a padded filling and a hanging loop. Unikko dates from 1964, when Marimekko collections held almost no florals: Maija Isola was drawn to the theme and designed a complete range of new floral prints, and the poppy now stands for creativity.
The mitten is sewn in Estonia from 100% organic cotton, padded with polyester that is half recycled, and measures 15 x 31.5 cm. It comes in Plum / Cranberry / Off-White / Rose, Sand / White / Hay / Emerald, Warm Green / Light Blue / Pale Rose, White / Dark Grey / Beige, Unbleached / Peach, White / Red and White / Beige / Dark Blue, and carries an Oeko-Tex certificate. Keep it away from heating elements and open flame.
