This single duvet cover carries the broad Iso Piccolo stripe, with hand openings at the top corners that make changing the duvet easier, a metal button closure at the bottom and double topstitched edges. In 1953, the year she joined Marimekko, Vuokko Eskolin-Nurmesniemi created Piccolo, a striped pattern painted with vivid brushstrokes. Three years later the Jokapoika shirt made from the fabric reached the shops and the streets, where it has stayed ever since.
Made in Pakistan from 200 thread count cotton percale, of which 75% is organic and 25% recycled cotton, it measures 150 x 210 cm and arrives in a pouch of the same fabric. It is available in Off-White / Emerald. Wash before use, wash separately three times and allow for shrinkage of up to 5%.
Pair it with plain or striped pillow cases for a calm bed, drawing on the bedding in the Marimekko collection.
