This heavyweight Marimekko cotton carries Lokki, one of the house's most recognisable prints, printed in Helsinki and sold by the metre. Maija Isola drew Lokki, meaning seagull, in 1961 after watching sunlight fall on a drawn curtain, where the wide folds cast wavelike shadows. She cut the final sketch from coloured paper, which gave the waves their living lines.
The fabric is 100% organic cotton in a heavyweight quality, with a 114 cm pattern repeat, and comes in White / Black. Wash with like colours, follow the washing temperature given and allow for shrinkage of up to 4%. Made in Finland.
Hang it as a curtain so the printed waves fall into real folds, and add cushions from the Marimekko collection.

Lokki：1961年陽光窗簾上的波浪
設計師Maija Isola1927–2001
Maija Isola於1961年繪製了Lokki，芬蘭語意為海鷗。她望著拉上的窗簾遮住灑滿陽光的窗戶，看見褶皺投下波浪般的影子，於是領悟到印上波浪的布料，即使只是一小塊，看起來也像有豐富的垂墜。這款印花用於寢具與布料。

Isola注意到陽光透過拉上的窗簾，投下波浪般的影子。想法很簡單：印上波浪，即使是平整的布看起來也有褶皺。她以彩色紙剪出最終草圖，賦予線條生命力。
水洗有機棉
寢具採用有機棉，經水洗處理觸感柔軟，於土耳其製造。被套上方兩角設有開口，讓換床單更輕鬆。依單品不同，織密度為150至200 TC。
