The Rutsjebane Cushion Cover carries a print made in Helsinki, with a concealed zip on one side and a narrow flanged edge. Danish textile artist Vibeke Rohland painted it in 2025 for the Marimekko Artist in Residence programme, letting paint loose in organic, overlapping stripes. Rutsjebane is the Danish word for roller coaster.
Woven in Estonia from 48% recycled cotton, 31% organic cotton and 21% linen, the cover measures 40 x 60 cm in Tomato Red, Petrol and Off-White. Follow the washing temperature given, reshape while damp and iron on the reverse side. Each cover is cut across the full width of the fabric, so no two look quite alike.
