The Marimekko Siirtolapuutarha Acrylic Coated Cotton Fabric is an organic cotton cloth with a protective finish, printed in Helsinki and sold by the metre. Maija Louekari's Siirtolapuutarha, or city garden, is a line drawing that traces a journey from a busy city centre out to an allotment overflowing with flowers and vegetables.
The base cloth is 100% cotton, the coating lets you wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth, and the fabric is made in Finland in White, Green and Black with a pattern repeat of 116 cm. Iron on the reverse side and wash with plenty of water.
Make it into table linen to go with the Marimekko collection.
