This set holds two chopstick rests shaped as the Unikko flower and two shaped as the Kivet circle, each glazed in its own colour and debossed with the Marimekko logo underneath. Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964, at a time when floral designs were almost absent from Marimekko collections. Fascinated by flowers, she went on to design a whole range of novel floral prints, and Unikko has symbolised creativity ever since.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, each holder measures 4.2 cm across and all are food safe. The set is packed in a Marimekko logo box. It is available in Beige / Chestnut / White / Light Brown. Washing by hand is recommended.
Lay one at each place setting for chopsticks or cutlery, and match them with the shaped plates in the Marimekko collection.
