The Unikko Toothbrush Holder is a small ceramic beaker with the poppy pressed into its surface in relief. Unikko was created in 1964, when Marimekko's collections were dominated by abstract prints and Maija Isola decided to draw an entire range of florals instead; today the flower stands for creativity.
Made in Portugal from 100% recycled stoneware, it measures 3.2 x 3.2 cm and stands 4 cm high. The inside carries a clear glaze while the outside is left naturally rough, and the recycled material gives each piece a lively colour with small variations between them. It comes in Sandstone and Volcanic Rock, and is dishwasher safe.
Set it by the basin with the matching bathroom accessory set from the Marimekko collection.

打破規則的花朵
Armi Ratia 認為真實的花朵無法以印花呈現，因此 Marimekko 幾乎沒有花卉圖案。1964年，Isola 以一整個系列的花卉作為回應。罌粟花 Unikko 成為品牌創造力的象徵。
澆鑄、裁切與壓製
蠟燭在葡萄牙以石蠟手工澆鑄，因此每一個都略有不同。餐墊以軟木依罌粟花輪廓裁切。浴室漱口杯與皂盤則以浮雕呈現花朵。
金色的 Piirto Unikko
2022年繪製的 Piirto Unikko 將罌粟花簡化為輕盈的圖像線條。在燭臺與收藏擺飾上，它以金色貼花呈現在粉紅色釉面上，以更含蓄的方式將花朵帶進空間。
