This acrylic coated cotton carries the Tiiliskivi pattern, printed in Helsinki, and is sold by the metre. The protective finish lets the surface be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Tiiliskivi, meaning brick, was designed in 1952 by Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia, and the pattern reflects her belief in the simple beauty of everyday life.
Woven in Finland from 100% organic cotton and finished with an acrylic coating, it has a pattern repeat of 73 cm. It is available in Chestnut / Natural White. Iron on the reverse side only.
Use it for tablecloths, placemats and bags that need to shrug off spills, alongside coated pieces in the Marimekko collection.
