The VL38 table lamp, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the late 1930s for the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen, was introduced in Louis Poulsen's catalogues post-WWII. Relaunched in 2016 with LED technology, the lamp retains its retro charm, now available in both white/brass and a black version introduced in 2017, which features a bolder outline while preserving the original design's soft curves.

Please note that the brass surface is left untreated. This means that the surface will change over time and develop a patina. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimise light distribution. The lamp is fitted with an integrated energy-saving LED light source.
