The Marimekko Oiva / Siirtolapuutarha Espresso Cup and Plate come as a pair, a small cup with its own saucer from the Oiva range designed by Sami Ruotsalainen. Maija Louekari drew Siirtolapuutarha in 2009 as a line drawing of the journey from the busy city centre out to an allotment garden full of flowers and vegetables.
Both pieces are made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, the cup holds 0.5 dl, and they are dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe. They come in White / Black. Remove the sticker from the base before use, as it contains a small amount of metal.
Keep them for a short, strong coffee after dinner, and match them to the larger Oiva cups in the Marimekko collection.
