The Signature vases are by MeyerLavigne, the Danish duo Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne. Their deliberately exaggerated shape opens like the funnel of a Silverbush flower, and the fine stripe along the centre of its petals returns as painted lines on stoneware in blue, green, purple or multi.

Drawn from a flower
MeyerLavigne looked to nature and botany. The Silverbush flower opens like a funnel with a fine stripe along each petal, and the vase reinterprets both in a graphic take on flowers and seed pods.
An exaggerated shape
The funnel top is deliberately overstated, so the vase reads as an object even without flowers. Painted stripes follow the curve, and a removable perforated plate helps place stems.
Two heights and a candle holder
The 15 and 20 cm vases suit a table or shelf, either alone or as a pair in different colours. The low 3.5 cm candle holder comes in green and brings the same colour to the table, set next to a vase or used on its own.

MeyerLavigne is the Danish design duo of Kristine Meyer and Sabine Lavigne. Both trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, specialising in ceramics and glass, and they also work with textiles, wood and print. For Kähler they created the Signature vases.

Rinse with warm water and wipe with a soft cloth; do not use scouring pads.
Does it work without flowers?
Yes. The exaggerated flower shape is decorative on its own.
