This heavyweight cotton is printed in Helsinki with Tiiliskivi, the brick pattern Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia designed in 1952. Ratia had a remarkable ability to capture the spirit of her time, and the pattern reflects her belief in the simple beauty of everyday life.
The fabric is organic cotton in a heavier weight suited to harder wear, with a pattern repeat of 73 cm, and it is sold by the metre. It comes in Black / White, Green / Natural White and Chestnut / Natural White. Wash with like colours at the stated temperature and allow for shrinkage of up to 4%.
