The Marimekko Unikko Tablecloth is a square cloth printed in Helsinki with the large Unikko flower and finished with a picot edge. Slight variation in size occurs between cloths and between batches. Unikko dates from 1964, when Marimekko collections held almost no florals: Maija Isola was drawn to the theme and designed a complete range of new floral prints, and the poppy now stands for creativity.
It is made in Estonia from unbleached 100% organic cotton sateen and measures 140 x 140 cm, in Off-White / Cranberry / Rose. The unbleached fabric has a lively colour and surface where small areas of differing colour may appear, and it carries an Oeko-Tex certificate. The cloth comes in the Marimekko logo pattern box. Wash at the temperature given and iron on the reverse side.
Use it on a square or round table for coffee and cake, alongside more table textiles in the Marimekko collection.
