The Oiva / Unikko Carafe pairs the Unikko decal with a hand painted top rim, and it comes packed in a Marimekko logo box. Oiva tableware is designed by Sami Ruotsalainen. Unikko was created by Maija Isola in 1964, at a time when floral designs were almost absent from Marimekko collections. Fascinated by flowers, she went on to design a whole range of novel floral prints, and Unikko has symbolised creativity ever since.
Made in Thailand from 100% white stoneware, the carafe stands 18 cm high and measures 7 cm across. It is available in White / Light Sand / Beige / Dark Green. Washing by hand is recommended, and the sticker on the base should be removed before use as it contains a small amount of metal.
Bring it to the table for water, milk or a single stem, alongside the matching cups in the Marimekko collection.
