The Ferm Living Agapé Floor Candle Holder carries the rustic, textured surface that runs through the Agapé Series. Raised on a slender leg, it lifts a single candle to standing height, so the glow reaches further into the room and changes the feeling of the space entirely.
It is cast from 100% recycled aluminium and offered with a Brass Finish or in plain Aluminium, measuring Ø 20 cm and 115 cm in height. It takes a candle of Ø 2.2 cm and up to 20 cm high. Extinguish the candle before it burns down to the edge of the holder, never leave a lit candle out of sight, and expect solid brass to patinate over time. Wipe with a damp cloth only.
Place one beside a sofa or a pair in a hallway, alongside other candle holders from the Ferm Living collection.

Agapé: wall and floor candle holders in recycled aluminium
DesignerFerm Living design studio
Agapé takes its name from the Greek word for spiritual love and charity. The series is cast from recycled aluminium with a rustic, textured surface that throws a warm glow across a wall. It includes a wall tealight holder, a wall candle holder and a 115 cm floor holder.

Candlelight on the wall
The wall holders free up tables and let the glow spread across the wall behind.
Made from recycled metal
Every piece is cast from 100% recycled aluminium.
Textured, rustic surface
The rough cast finish catches the flame and gives warmth even in daylight.
Light at standing height
The floor holder lifts one candle on a slender leg so the glow reaches further.
A name about love
Agapé means spiritual love and charity in Greek, and the series is designed to create a warm, almost devotional mood. Its rustic cast surface brings an atmospheric detail to a hallway, living room or bedroom.
On the wall
The Wall Tealight Holder, 12.6 cm tall, holds a 3.8 cm tealight. The Wall Candle Holder, 30.5 cm tall, takes a 2.2 cm taper up to 20 cm high. Leave enough vertical space between holders so the heat has room to rise.
On the floor
The Agapé Floor Candle Holder raises a single candle to 115 cm on a slender leg with a 20 cm base. It takes the same 2.2 cm candle as the wall holder and an assembly manual is available for it.
Materials
- Recycled cast aluminium
- Rustic and durable; wipe with a damp cloth and avoid abrasives and chemicals.
- Brass finish

- Natural aluminium
- A soft silver-grey that keeps the cast texture in focus.
Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by graphic designer Trine Andersen, who started out because she was missing wallpaper designs for her new house. Agapé is a Ferm Living studio design, a series of wall and floor candle holders cast from recycled aluminium.
