The Ferm Living Apple Hand-carved Hook is a small, hand-painted apple that doubles as a practical fixture, a celebration of natural materials and form. It makes a thoughtful detail in a hallway or in your little one's room, keeping everyday essentials within easy reach.
The hook is carved from FSC certified aspen wood, certificate FSC 100% PBN-COC-071313, and comes in Poppy Red. It measures 5 cm wide, 8 cm high and 6.5 cm deep, and a screw and rawlplug are included. Wipe it with a dry cloth. As each hook is hand-carved and hand-painted, small variations may occur.

Ferm Living's hand-carved hooks are cut from aspen wood and painted by hand, so each one is slightly different. The Animal hooks have glass eyes and safari markings, while Poesie, Acorn, Apple and Pear are smaller, quieter shapes. Every hook comes with a screw and rawlplug.

Safari on the wall
The Animal hooks come as a giraffe, a lion and an elephant, each 9.5 x 9.5 x 5 cm. They are painted with the hallmarks of the wild animals and fitted with glass eyes, a reason for children to hang up their own clothes.
Poesie and the orchard
Poesie is 8 x 7.5 cm, in Tan, Rose or Mist Blue. Acorn, Apple and Pear arrived for Autumn/Winter 2026 at about 5 cm wide, in Natural, Poppy Red and Mistletoe, for a hallway or a child's room.
Aspen, by hand
All the hooks are aspen wood, FSC™ certified for most motifs, carved and painted by hand. The wood is light and smooth, and each hook carries the small marks of the hands that made it.

Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Trine Andersen, who began by designing the wallpaper she could not find for her new house. Its children's range comes from the same Copenhagen design studio, with natural materials and simple, playful forms. The hand-carved hooks were designed there and are made by carvers who shape and paint each one by hand.
