The Ferm Living Curvature Hanging Rail offers sculptural kitchen storage for utensils and everyday tools. Six hooks come with it, and the modular design can be extended with further rails, so you can build a personalised kitchen rack along the length of a wall.
It is made from solid brass with a matte polish and comes in Black Brass, Brass and Stainless Steel. The rail measures 55 cm wide, 2 cm high and 3 cm deep and weighs 0.25 kg. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and polish the brass when needed. The surface is delicate, so avoid abrasive surfaces and chemicals, and note that solid brass is a natural material that will patinate over time.

Curves in solid brass
The Curvature family is a series of hooks and hangers formed by hand in solid brass with a matte finish. The whimsical curves sit against the solidity of the metal, giving everyday hardware a playful, sculptural look.
From hook to wall table
The family now spans hooks, a double hook, mini hooks, a 65.9 cm towel hanger, a toilet paper holder, a handle and a paper towel holder. The Curvature Wall Table, inspired by jewellery, is a small 30 cm wall-mounted surface for keys or a bedside.
In the kitchen
The 55 cm Curvature Hanging Rail comes with six hooks and is modular, so it can be extended into a longer rack. The Curvature Dish Rack in mirror-polished stainless steel comes with a tray that collects dripping water.

Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by graphic designer Trine Andersen, who started out because she was missing wallpaper designs for her new house. Curvature was developed in its Copenhagen studio as a family of registered designs, made in solid brass, black brass and stainless steel.
Using it at home
How do I clean Curvature brass?
Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive surfaces or chemicals. Unlacquered brass on the wall table and rail can be polished when needed.
Are screws included?
Yes, the hooks, holders and towel hanger come with screws and rawplugs, and the handle with a screw and nut.
Will the brass change colour?
Brass is a natural material and will patinate over time; lacquered pieces change more slowly.
Can the hanging rail be extended?
Yes. It comes with six hooks and is modular, so several rails create a longer rack.
