Builds fine motor skills
Balancing caps and stems trains hand and eye together.
Endless ways to play
Stack a tower, line up a path or set out a forest floor.
Solid certified beech
FSC™-certified hardwood, smooth and durable.
Warm earthy colours
Stained tones that sit calmly in a room.
A forest of shapes
The set is made up of mushroom-shaped pieces in varied forms and sizes that can be stacked in many different orders. Together they measure about 19.5 x 16.5 x 11 cm, a size that fits on a shelf between games.
Learning by balancing
Finding which piece fits on which is a small puzzle every time. Stacking and balancing train fine motor skills and patience, while the forest theme invites stories and pretend play once the tower falls.
Solid beech, stained
The blocks are cut from FSC™-certified solid beech and stained in earthy colours. As with any natural wood, the colour can vary slightly from block to block. Wipe them with a damp cloth to keep them clean.
Materials
- Solid beech
- FSC™-certified hardwood that withstands years of play.
- Wood stain
- Gives the warm, earthy colours; slight variation is natural.
- Damp-cloth care
- Wipe clean; do not soak the wood.
Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Trine Andersen, and its collections are developed by the brand's in-house design studio there. The Mushroom Stacking Blocks are part of the studio's wooden toys for kids, which draw on the Nordic forest and use certified solid wood.
