The Ferm Living Norte Grid Rug is hand tufted from undyed natural wool, its surface defined by a structured grid worked in a deeper, longer pile. The undyed fibres carry a natural melange, a variation in tone inherent to the wool itself, that gives the geometry a considered, almost architectural quality.
The rug is 90% wool and 10% cotton, measures 160 x 235 cm with a pile depth of 8 cm and comes in Natural. Vacuum only, and vacuum frequently at first to remove the natural shedding. Do not rub wet stains but absorb them with paper towels and clean with a damp cloth, using professional carpet cleaning if needed. Keep the rug away from open fire.

The Norte Grid Cushion comes 50 x 50 cm or 60 x 40 cm, hand-tufted in 80% New Zealand wool on a structured cotton base with a feather and down filling. Layer them on a sofa or bed alongside the rugs for one calm, textured palette.

Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by graphic designer Trine Andersen, who started out because she was missing wallpaper designs for her new house. Norte was developed by the Ferm Living design studio in Copenhagen, which works mainly with New Zealand wool for its rugs. The family also includes round, larger and outdoor Norte rugs.
