The Skye Textile Lampshade is a cheerful shade for a child's room, with soft, sky-inspired motifs embroidered in warm, earthy tones. Handmade, the natural shade adds warmth and character above a bed or a play corner.
The fabric is 100% cotton with embroidery over a steel structure, and the shade measures Ø45 x H45 cm in Natural/Bronze. A bulb and a fabric cord set are not included, and the light source should be a max 12W LED. Wipe with a dry cloth.

A night sky indoors
Skye gathers moons, stars and planets into one gentle theme for the nursery or child's room. The colours stay earthy, Parchment, Cashmere, Tea Green, Sienna and Rose, so the pieces work together without overwhelming a small room.
Light for bedtime
The table lamp has a powder-coated base and a GOTS-certified linen shade with embroidered sky motifs, lit by a 12 V warm-white LED with a dimmer. The 45 cm embroidered textile lampshade is handmade over a steel frame for a ceiling light.
Rug, blanket and toys
The hand-tufted rug, 80 x 120 cm, is soft for play on the floor. The reversible blanket is brushed cotton. Three soft toys, a planet, star and moon, strap onto a pram, and the beech wood puzzle box suits children from 12 months.

Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by graphic designer Trine Andersen, who started out because she was missing wallpaper designs for her new house. Skye was developed by the Ferm Living design studio in Copenhagen as a kids' series around one theme, the night sky, so that textiles, light and toys can be combined in one room.
