It has a front of 100% tufted New Zealand wool and a 100% cotton backing, measures 80 x 200 x 3 cm and comes in Ash Brown, Red Brown, Toffee, Off-white and Dark Pecan. Vacuum only, frequently at first to remove natural shedding, and rotate it regularly.

Tufted by hand
Stille rugs are hand-tufted, with wool pushed through a backing to build a dense pile. The front is 100% New Zealand wool and the back 100% cotton, giving a rug 3 cm high that feels sumptuous and quiet underfoot.
Five calm tones
The colours are kept calm and natural: Ash Brown, Red Brown, Toffee, Off-white and Dark Pecan. Each is a single, even tone, so the texture of the wool does the work and the rug sits easily with wood, linen and stone.
Sizes and the runner
The rug comes in 140 x 200 cm, 11 kg, and 160 x 250 cm, 16.5 kg. The 80 x 200 cm runner, 7 kg, suits a hallway, a landing or the foot of a bed, anchoring the space with warmth and a quiet tone.

Ferm Living was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by graphic designer Trine Andersen, who started out because she was missing wallpaper designs for her new house. Stille comes from the brand's in-house design studio as a hand-tufted wool rug series in calm, natural tones meant to suit many rooms.
Using it at home
How do I clean it?
Vacuum only, and frequently at first to remove natural shedding. Blot wet stains with paper towels, clean with a damp cloth, and use professional carpet cleaning if needed.
